Latest News AquaSox Release 2009 Schedule11/8/2008Everett – The Everett AquaSox have announced the release of their 2009 Northwest League schedule. The upcoming season will get underway with a three game series at Nat Bailey Stadium in Vancouver versus the Canadians, June 20 – 22. The AquaSox open their home schedule at Everett Memorial Stadium on Tuesday, June 23 at 7:05 p.m. against the Spokane Indians. The 2009 season will mark the AquaSox 15th as a Seattle Mariners affiliate and 26th season in Everett. Fans can look forward to many unique giveaways and promotions as well as 10 post-game fireworks shows. AQUASOX NAME NEW EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT11/6/2008Everett – The Everett AquaSox announced today that Tom Backemeyer has been named Executive Vice President. Backemeyer has been in minor league baseball for eight years, serving most recently as the Vice President of Tickets for the Fresno Grizzlies (AAA – San Francisco) of the Pacific Coast League. He will work closely with Team President Pat Filippone and oversee the day-to-day operations of the club. EVERETT AQUASOX BASEBALL CLUB IS SOLD11/4/2008Everett – AquaSox Team President Peter A. Carfagna announced the sale of the team to 7th Inning Stretch, LLP – a California based company that includes two other minor league teams: the Delmarva (MD) Shorebirds and the Stockton (CA) Ports. The principles are Chairman and Majority Owner Thomas S. Volpe and President Pat Filippone. AquaSox Charitable Donations Exceed $125,000 In 200810/7/2008Everett – The Everett AquaSox have partnered to provide fundraising opportunities for over 250 non-profit organizations this year including $25,000 in cash endowments, $100,000 in ticket donations, and in-kind contributions totaling over $4,000.
