AquaSox Chairman and Secretary/Treasurer Peter A. Carfagna is an avid baseball fan. Mr. Carfagna entered the world of professional baseball ownership in November of 2000, when he and his wife, Vice Chairman Rita Murphy Carfagna, purchased the Columbus Red Stixx baseball team in Columbus, Georgia, along with Rita’s brother/Captains’ Vice President Ray Murphy. Following the 2002 season, the Indians’ Class A affiliate was relocated to Eastlake and became the Lake County Captains. Under the Carfagna’s/Murphy’s ownership, the Captains have attracted over 1.2 million fans during their first three seasons in Northeast Ohio. Read More >>

Pete Carfagna serves as the Senior Vice President for the Captains, overseeing the club’s day-to-day operations. In addition to his post at the AquaSox, Pete also serves as the Senior Vice President for the Carfagna's other baseball holdings: the Lake County Captains, a class “A” affiliate of the Cleveland Indians located in Eastlake, Ohio, and the Lancaster JetHawks, a class “A” affiliate of the Boston Red Sox located in Lancaster, California. Cathy Bierman is entering her 8th year with the ballclub. Cathy is responsible for the operations of our concessions as well as employment for our day of game staff. She received her BA in Elementary Education from Hiram College. |

In 2007, Pat completed his 10th season as a radio play-by-play announcer for the AquaSox—his 13th year broadcasting Northwest League baseball. You can listen to all 76 AquaSox games live on NorthSound 1380 KRKO. During the off-season, Pat works year-round as the Director of Corporate Sales and manages various team sponsorships. Prior to joining the AquaSox in 1998, he served as the broadcaster for the Bellingham Giants (1995-96) and moved with the franchise to Salem-Keizer to broadcast the Volcanoes inaugural season in 1997. |

Scott is a graduate of Eastern Washington University. Previously, he interned with the Spokane Shadow of the United Soccer League. In 2000, Gray began a three-year stint with the Seattle Seahawks as a Season Ticket Account Representative. In 2003, he served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Sports Facilities Marketing Group (SFMG), consulted on the grand opening of the Everett Events Center, and directed the overall sales and marketing efforts. |

Tall Tom Lafferty is in his 25th year as PA announcer for baseball in Everett. Throughout his tenure Tom has missed only a handful of games and has announced nearly every professional baseball game in Everett Memorial Stadium for the Aquasox and Giants. Tom can also be heard on Northsound 1380 where he is the Sports Director. |
